Gordon Brown today insisted that he did not back down from holding an autumn election because of unfavourable opinion polls, during an extended grilling from journalists in Downing Street.
The Prime Minister said he believed Labour would have won a snap election, but that he wanted more time to present his "vision for the future" before going to the country. OK Gordon we belive you NOT! |
