After 10 years of "Circus Labour" and their mantra "Education Education Education" (Remember that promise when next at the ballot box!)
The following article is worrying, yet pails into insignificance against the fact that a huge proportion of young people in England are equally ignorant of their nation’s language.
In London it would seem that a good sized proportion of the 10 to 25 age group are no longer able to speak the queens English, prefering instead to use what can best be described as “Pigeon idiot” a Mongrel language which is a mix of English, Caribbean pigeon Patois, American Slang, Grunting and dope enhanced croaking. All of which leaves its users 50% unemployable and 100% unintelligible!
The more advanced students of this new language form, can be identified by their traditional peaked head gear, traksuit bottoms and training shoes.
It would seem then that the "you cant touch me sir" generation have finaly won the age old battle between tutor and student! Marvelous!

England slides down world literacy league

English schoolchildren have plummeted in an international league table for reading skills, amid claims that pupils are ditching books for computer games.
Primary school pupils slipped from third in 2001 to 19th last year in the authoritative study of 45 countries and provinces. Only the results of Morocco and Romania fell more sharply.

Ministers said the drop in standards among 10-year-olds, who took part in the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study, was due to a sharp rise in addictive video games coupled with a decline in reading at home.
